The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce has appointed Ken Tucker, Founder of Changescape Web, to serve a two year term as on the Board of Directors. His term runs through 2014.
Serving as volunteers, the 17 Board of Directors set the policies for the Chamber. The Mayor of St. Charles, the Mayor of St. Peters, a representative of St. Charles County Government, and the chair of the Young Professionals of St. Charles serve as ex-officio board members.
“I’m very excited to serve on the board. The chamber has been an important part of my business success, and I hold this chamber in the highest regard. It is truly an honor to serve” said Tucker.
“Ken has been an active member since joining,” said Scott Tate, President & CEO of the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, “and we are pleased he has agreed to serve as a member the board.”
Mr. Tucker has been a member of the Greater St. Charles County Chamber since 2008. He is currently serving his fifth term as the co-chair for the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee, which also supports all chambers and chamber members in St. Charles County. Mr. Tucker was also selected as the Chamber Champion in 2009.
The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce serves more than 850 member businesses making it the largest business association in St. Charles County and the second largest in the St. Louis region. The Chamber works full-time to protect members investments by striving for controlled economic growth, improved transportation, better legislation and an improvement of the overall quality of life in St. Charles County.
